This one year course will introduce and develop skills in welding, fabrication and blacksmithing and provide a sound introduction to working with metals. You will study for a NCFE Level 1 Award in Creative Craft (Heritage and Traditional Craft) and a City & Guilds Level 1 Certificate in Engineering.
Those who successfully complete this Level 1 course to a high standard are able to progress onto the Level 2 Blacksmithing and Metalworking study programme.
