Course Information

As an Accounts or Finance Assistant, your work could include basic bookkeeping activities, working with sales and purchase ledgers, running calculations to ensure that records and payments are correct, recording of cash and data entry.

The apprenticeship consists of 12 months to complete practical work with an additional three months to complete the End Point Assessment.

  • As part of this apprenticeship, you will be required to undertake a professional qualification; we provide the AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting (Level 2) via online delivery.

Career Opportunities
  • Accounts/Finance Assistants may work in-house for an organisation or they might work for accountancy firm, bookkeeping practice, Shared Service provider, self-employed or on behalf of several different clients.

Course Fees

There are no course fees for eligible students. Students will also earn a full-time wage while they are working for their apprenticeship employer.

Materials Required

You will need access to a PC/laptop to develop your e-portfolio and undertake the online AAT course.
