Learn in the beautiful and spacious surroundings of KMC gardens. This well-respected RHS Certificate is designed to fit around work commitments. Face to face classes are held weekly with our expert tutors There is plenty of opportunity to discuss relevant areas of interest and focus on specific topical subjects. The extensive range of plants, including two National Collections ( Salvia and Penstemon) is available to study at close quarters.

This certificate forms part of the suite of Level 2 RHS qualifications.

Please note: Current RHS Certificate Programmes will be replaced by new specifications. Transitional arrangements will be in place.However, anyone wishing to participate at KMC in the 3 certificates required for the current Level 2 Diploma, is advised to complete their study during academic year 2021-2022.

Course Content
  • You will study plant selection, lawn maintenance, fruit and vegetable production, and garden survey and design.
Entry Requirements
  • Although there are no formal entry requirements, students need to be literate and numerate. If you have any concerns please contact us to discuss.
    Minimum age is 16 years
    Tetanus protection is recommended.
