Course Information

Supported Internships give young people with additional educational needs, good quality, real life work experience to prepare them for the world of work.
We are offering a range of experiences across the campus from retail experience in our new Farm Shop to catering and horticulture. Students will be given support throughout from a job coach and closely monitored to ensure they get the most from the programme.
Students will continue to study English and maths alongside targeted employability skills to enhance their internship.
The internship runs for the usual academic year but days of the week worked may vary as they often can in employment to meet business need.

There are no course fees for eligible students aged 16-18. Students aged 19-25 may also be eligible for government funding or a student loan depending on their circumstances.
