  • The skills you’ll gain are based on the gardening calendar, covering:
    - Garden planning and design principles
    - Pruning for fruit and flower
    - Propagation from seed and cuttings
    - Tree planting and maintenance

    - Soil testing, conditioning and improvement
    - Identification of common weeds, pests and diseases

Materials Required

Clothing suitable for working outside and gardening gloves. Robust footwear with non-slip soles. A flask of something hot for cold days, and cool for warm days, we are outside 99% of the time!
