This qualification has been developed in consultation with employers in the business enterprise sector to ensure it enables learners to develop the skills and behaviours that will give them the best opportunity to be successful when applying for work. All the content of the qualification relates directly to the skills, knowledge and behaviours expected by employers in this sector.

Learners will develop transferable technical and practical skills in communication (working with colleagues, employers and clients), and research skills, which will support project work and reflective practice.

There are no course fees for eligible students aged 16-18. Students aged 19-25 may also be eligible for government funding or a student loan depending on their circumstances.
Trips and guest speakers are planned throughout the course.
