Course Information

Pre-Internships give young people with additional educational needs, good quality, real life work experience to prepare them for the world of work.

We are offering a range of experiences across the campus from retail experience in our new Estate Farm Shop to catering, horticulture and working with our Animal Technicians in the Farm Park. You will be given support throughout from a Job Coach and closely monitored to ensure you get the most from the programme and to prepare you for the world of work.

You will continue to study English and maths alongside targeted employability skills to enhance your internship. A key theme running throughout all of our courses is making sure that you are working toward and achieving your Education, Health and Care Plan outcomes to help you to progress. We work closely with you, your parents or carers to ensure you are happy and well supported.

The internship runs for the usual academic year but days of the week worked may vary as they often can in employment to meet business need.
