Entrants will need Level 3 qualifications. This could include
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Uniformed Protective Services/ Public Services (1080) - City and Guilds or BTEC - grade PPP or above, or MP for the 720 credit Extended Diploma.
A Levels to a combination of 48 UCAS points - key subjects Business management, Sociology, Psychology, English literature, sport science, physical education
Applicants should have GCSEs in English and maths at grade 4 or above.
Mature students may want to discuss qualifications and experience before applying, but are not exempt from the course if they do not have specific entry qualifications.
international students can apply but should have achieved IELTS at 5.5 or above.

This course will prepare students for entry into public services, such as the police, allowing them to meet current requirements to be educated to degree level. The course supports progression into BSc (Hons ) programmes in relevant subjects such as criminology, law and ethics, justice and relevant business management.

Materials Required
Learners will have practical sessions and should ensure they have correct PPE. This includes suitable clothing, steel toe boots, water proofs. Learners will also find it useful to have their own devices (laptops, tablets) to bring to college for classwork and to access learning materials.
